Does anyone know if there is an Intellivision Multicart? I've run searches and saw someone is working on one but that's about it. Thanks!

There was talk of a something called a Cuttle cart. That has been years ago. So I am not sure what became of it.

Hope you can take that info and run with it.

Yes, I'm aware of the Cuttle Cart 3, which is for the Inty. But I was thinking more along the lines of a multi-cart like the ones for the Vectrex and 5200. Menu-driven carts with tons of games! Smile They are great space savers! LOL

Understood. There are a few titles that I will probably never own so a multi cart would be nice.

CC3 recently sold out. I believe it had enough space to store the entire Intellivision library with room to spare.

I hope not! Maybe that one project I saw online comes to fruition! I still can't post links! Just copy the address and take out the spaces.

Well, I finally got a CC3. It is fantastic! Great way to play lots of INTV games! I am also able to run demo bin files. Smile

Smile I think I'm going to get about 40 or 50 done and then I need to switch to the Atari 5200. We don't have any reviews for that console on RVG.

Very Happy That sounds great! Had not noticed about the lack of 5200 reviews. Sometimes the 5200 is the left out Atari system.

Yes, for some odd reason the 5200 was just left out. I had offered to do them but I was told someone was doing them. I guess that didn't happen and then I was asked to do them. I figured I'd finish the Vectrex and do some Intellivision before getting to it.

I have been skimming some of the RVG articles and surprised by how many members no long seem to post. Kind of like this site.

You getting a CC3 is really good news and helps the Intellivison community. You will play it and share your thoughts.

I can see some folks just buying it to say they have one.

Well, some people I'm sure got it just so they could sell it overpriced later. I certainly had to pay plenty for the one I got. Given all the games I was able to get for it, though, I felt it was worth it. Some of those games sell for a lot of money.

I could not believe the price of that Spiker. I guess some people will pay to get complete collections.

Is the collection ever complete? I mean you have prototype games and systems for the Intellivision.

I have plenty of roms now, some of them prototypes. There is a limit of what I'll spend, though. I rather have an incomplete collection than spend an absurd amount of money on one game.

Me too! I would be afraid to play the game if I spent a fortune to buy it and that does not even sound fun.

I discovered something about the CC3 that makes me even like it even more. It lets me play all those games Coleco made for the Intellivision that cannot be played if one were to purchase a cart. I think that is awesome! I can now play all releases from Coleco without issues.

You must have INTV II? I think Coleco titles play fine on all INTV consoles but II.

Yes, I have an INTV II. I liked the compact profile of that console and the fact that the controllers can be swapped.

That is great news about the CC3 TrekMD! I really like the look of the INTV II and I think the Sears model is a neat looking variant.

I'm not sure what the CC3 does to the ROMS (or if the ROMS themselves have been altered) but the fact that I can play all those games is that couldn't be played is great!

Some of the Coleco titles are really good. I like MouseTrap, Turbo and Venture. It must have been awful to have the INTV II back in the day and not have been able to play those games.

It is amazing that these multi-carts can put every game right in front of you to play. It is also really cool!

I understand the original Donkey Kong complaints. I mean that people thought Coleco was putting out an inferior title. They must have learned the Intellivision system better with Venture because it really looks nice. That or they thought it was an obscure title that might now sell if it did not play or look good.

Donkey Kong was truly awful, as I state on my review of the original port posted in RVG. The 2600 port is superior to the original port of the same game on the INTV. Truly sad because, clearly, the system could do much better. It gives some credence to the idea that Coleco did it on purpose!
