Jurassic Park 4!

Well, it appears those dinosaurs are still running amok on Isla Sorna! Jurassic Park 4 has been officially announced by Universal Studios. The movie will hit theaters on June 13, 2014 (lucky day!). Looks like that summer will be packed with a ton of other sequels as well.

That is good news. Glad they are going to continue with another movie.

Not everyone is happy about seeing a fourth movie. Since Isla Sorna has never been bombed, the dinos are still here so there are stories to tell.

The Jurassic Park games have not been very good but I have enjoyed all three movies so far. I would really like to read the books someday.

I've never played the games. I did read the first book, though, and it is better than the movie by leaps and bounds. It is also a very different story. I read the book after watching the movie and I kept wondering why they didn't follow the book because the story was that much better. I know the movie was successful (hence all these other follow up movies) but it would have had a stronger story had it followed the book better.

I didn't read the other books after that because they were written to fit the movies and ignored events from the first book.

Too long of a wait!

Wasnt this supposed to be out years ago? Ive been hearing about jp4 for many years now.

There have been rumors about it for some time but I guess it is finally going to happen. Sometimes they just can't seem to get the team they want together to work on it.

The fourth film, Jurassic World, was originally scheduled to be released on June 13, 2014 but has since been pushed back to a June 12, 2015 release. In March 2013, Colin Trevorrow was announced as the director.[3] Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall are still signed on as producers with a script written by Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow.

Entertainment Weekly had a short article recently about the movie. Apparently some people are taking issue that there won't be feathered dinos in the movie.

That's ludicrous! That's like having a breakfast with no bacon.

Looking forward to this movie...

just as long as there isnt more helpless kids being chased by the dinos....we already seen that in 1,2,and 3.

So am I.  Curious to see what the come up with.
