That is a good question. I know the maintenance is expensive. I have been tempted to get one of the digital tables that can simulate just about any table. The ones I have tried are very, very well made. There's haptic feedback works well and it feels like you're playing on a real, physical table.

Pinball arcade on steam/Everywhere else is an excellent simulator of real machines. I'm sad that you cannot buy Addam's Family for it anyomore. I got it on Steam so I have it forever, but still... that, T2 and Star Trek: TNG are my fav tables.
